GUITAR ENLIGHTENMENT AT YOUR FINGERTIPS

Lite Jam is a revolutionary new way to learn or improve your guitar playing. It’s the world’s first guitar which has LED lights behind every note position. Guiding your way whilst never taking your eye off the fretboard: It is SO intuitive to play this way.

Simply download the Lite Jam App from the Play Store or App Store, connect your phone to the guitar via Bluetooth and you’re ready to go.

Learn chords and scales with ease as a beginner, or if you’re an experienced player stuck in that ‘blues scale and power chord’ rut – explore new scales and chords to extend your soloing or song writing repertoire.

Lite Jam is also a performance tool.

Guitar enlightenment at your fingertips

Choose from a series of light chase patterns and your guitar instantly becomes part of your live show.

From first time learners to accomplished professional musicians, everyone will appreciate the biggest difference from any other way of learning:

Enlightenment at your fingertips: Focus on your guitar neck, not a screen.

When everything’s upside down and back to front it’s hard, right? Just load the chord or scale in the key you want: No need to look back and forwards at a book or a screen anymore: Lite Jam eliminates all the headaches.

Lite Jam for learners

Guitar enlightenment at your fingertips

Not only does Lite Jam show you how and where to play chords and scales – it also shows you which finger to place where. This feels intuitive. Our simple system makes everything easy.

Lite Jam for hobbyists / experienced players / songwriters

LED fretboard guitar

As well as learning interesting new chords – Lite Jam also enables you to learn new scales and it couldn’t be easier. On the App, just tap on a key, then tap on a scale type: Wherever the LED lights

FAQ’s

Everything you always wanted to know about Lite Jam: But if you have a question we’ve missed – please contact us at sales@litejam.com

What ages is Lite Jam suitable for?
Lite Jam is suitable for beginners and experienced players from 14 upwards. Any younger and it may not be suitable if you have small hands. As with any guitar.
Lite Jam is designed for absolute beginners with no playing experience right through to touring musicians. You can now learn chords and scales with ease as a beginner. But, if you’re an experienced player stuck in that ‘blues scale and power chord’ rut – this an intuitive and fun way to explore new scales and chords to extend your soloing or song writing repertoire.
You’ll need the Lite Jam Guitar, our free app (Available via the Google and Apple App Stores). A tuner, guitar pick and a metronome is also recommended. We also offer bundle deals with mini practice amps, guitar carry bags etc – See more on that here
Simply download the free App to your phone (Available via the Google and Apple App Stores). Then charge your guitar LED’s using the USB C connector and cable provided. This takes around 2 Hours. Then open the App and use your phone’s Bluetooth to connect to the guitar (displays in available devices as Lite Jam Guitar).
Once you’re connected, the App will allow you to select chords and scales in different keys. The selection will display on the Lite Jam Guitar, illuminating only the LED lights required to play the chord or scale in the chosen key. On scale mode – the guitar illuminates the LED’s on places you can play in the chosen key. In chord mode – the lights illuminated correspond to your fingers like so:

Red LED = First finger position

Green LED = Second finger position

Blue LED = Third finger position

Yellow LED = Fourth finger position

White LED = Play the string open

No LED = Don’t play that string

Yes. Use the USB C connection cable provided. Connect one end to the guitar on the front behind the volume and tone knobs.
Between 3-4 hours in chord or scale mode – a little less in performance mode.
This mode is designed for ‘working guitarists’ who play in front of an audience. It allows you to run the LED lights in a pattern – so that the Lite Jam Guitar becomes an extension of your light show!
Once you’re connected – it will feel intuitive from the moment you call up your first chord or scale. Songwriters will love it for trying out new chord structures in different keys.
We encourage you to learn at your own pace. We don’t believe in targets and goals as everyone learns and plays differently. Just enjoy the ride. One thing is sure though: Lite Jam will get you playing confidently – with no prior experience – faster than any online learning that’s out there now.

Yes – we offer a full 12 Month Warranty if the guitar becomes faulty and any guitar hardware / one or more LED lights / Bluetooth connectivity / charging ports fail. PLEASE NOTE our warranty do not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, accidents, misuse, or modifications made by the purchaser. If you choose to release your inner Pete Townshend at a show – that’s on you I’m afraid 😊
You won’t receive feedback on your playing ability. You will know if it sounds and feels right. We’re not here to judge you – or to enable you to judge yourself harshly. Have fun with it – you’ll know when it sounds right.
Yes. A great place to start in terms of learning a song is to master the chords in the song first. A great 2 chord song is ‘A Horse With No Name’ by Neil Young – try learning the chords Em and D 6/9. Then try playing along with the song. Google ‘Songs with two chords’ or ‘Songs with three chords’ and you’ll find many hits to choose from.
We recommend using a Smart Phone or Tablet. The information from the App is instantly translated to your fretboard, eliminating the need to frequently look away from the guitar to a screen – as you would normally have to do when learning online.
None: Once you have downloaded the App to your phone – you can use it without a Wi-Fi or Data based connection
Yes – you’ll need to download our free App (search Lite Jam Guitar) from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store

Wipe down the body: Gently wipe down the entire body of the guitar with a clean, dry microfiber cloth to remove dust and fingerprints.

Use guitar polish (optional): If using polish, apply a small amount to the cloth and gently rub in circular motions

IMPORTANT: Be sure that the USB C port protective plug is in place at all times when the guitar is not being charged.

Buff to a shine: Use a clean, dry cloth to buff the guitar to a shine.

Clean the Neck and Fretboard:

Wipe down the neck: Gently wipe down the neck with a clean, dry cloth.

Clean the frets: Use a dedicated fretboard cleaner or a drop of lemon oil on a clean cloth to gently clean the frets.

Condition the fretboard (optional): Apply a small amount of fretboard oil to the cloth and gently rub it into the fretboard, avoiding the frets themselves. Wipe off any excess oil.

Clean the Hardware:

Wipe down the hardware: Gently wipe down the tuning machines, bridge, and pickups with a clean, dry cloth.

Remove any grime: Use a slightly damp cloth to remove any stubborn grime from the hardware.

Store Your Guitar Properly:

Store your guitar in a case or gig bag when not in use to protect it from dust, scratches, and temperature fluctuations.

Important Notes:

Avoid using harsh chemicals: Never use household cleaners, alcohol, or abrasive materials on your guitar.

Test any cleaning product in an inconspicuous area first: This will help you ensure that the product doesn’t damage the finish.

Regular cleaning will help to keep your guitar looking and sounding its best.
