Every light is an instruction.

Red is your index finger. Green, middle. Blue, ring. Yellow, pinky. White means play the open string. Unlit means don't. In Scale mode, red marks the root and blue the notes-in key. That's the whole system - no charts to decode

How it works

Turn it on. Pair when you want to. Follow the lights.

1. Turn it on

One button on the guitar. Seven built-in light effects, chord and scale presets and the tuner - no phone needed.

2. Pair the app

The free Litejam App unlocks the full chord and scale library, Perform effects and GlowTab. Bluetooth, one tap.

3. Follow the lights

Play what lights up. Chords, scales, arpeggios and whole songs - on a real electric guitar.

Three modes

Chord. Scale. Perform.

Learn it, practise it, show it off - the three modes every RGB24 owner uses first.

Chord mode

Color your chords

12 root chords, 50+ variations each. Custom chord builder and CAGED arpeggios included.

Scale mode

Unlock the fretboard

12 keys, 18 scale types per key. Red root, blue tones, vertical positions, string control.

Perform mode

Part of the show

Flow, Slide, Sync, Hold and Follow Sound. Any colour, any brightness, any speed.

Scale mode

Every scale. Every position. Whole neck.

Pick a key and a scale - major, minor, pentatonic, modes, Lydian diminished, 18 types in all - and the fretboard shows the roots in red and every playable note in blue. Choose a fret position to drill one shape, or switch strings off to isolate a pattern.

Your tabs, as light.

GlowTab imports Guitar Pro files and plays them on your fretboard - the tab scrolls, the LEDs show where your fingers go, and hammer-ons, slides and bends get their own colours. Loop a section, slow it down, bring it back to speed. Chord Progression does the same for changes: chain chords, set a tempo, drill it in time.

Flow

Your fretboard becomes part of the show.

Flow, Slide, Sync and Hold animate the neck with rhythm and motion; Follow Sound makes the lights react to what it hears. Pick any colour from the wheel, set brightness and speed - subtle for an acoustic set, bold for the solo.

The Litejam ecosystem · free, lifetime

Every mode. One ecosystem.

Seven places to play, one Litejam account. The guitar works on its own, the free app lights the fretboard, GlowTab and Playground live on the web, and Litejam Learn brings the courses - same login, same progress, any screen.

The guitar itself

A real electric guitar. The lights are the bonus.

Basswood Super ST body, Litejam HSH ceramic pickups, 24 medium-jumbo frets - the fretboard just happens to be a display.

One tablet. Every guitar in the room.

Connect several Litejam guitars to one device and the same chord lights up on every neck - group lessons, workshops, or a parent and a kid learning the same song on the sofa.

  • Multi-guitar connection
  • Custom chords for lessons
  • Built-in mode for kids

Plug in. Turn it up. Light it up.

Litejam HSH ceramic pickups, a 5-way selector and a vibrato tremolo - the RGB24 is a gigging electric guitar with a fretboard that performs with you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need the app?

No. Seven built-in light effects, chord and scale presets and the tuner run from the guitar's own button. The free Litejam App unlocks the full chord and scale library, Perform and GlowTab.

Is it a real electric guitar?

Yes — basswood Super ST body, maple neck, 24 medium-jumbo frets, Litejam HSH ceramic pickups and a 5-way selector. Turn the LEDs off and it is a normal electric guitar.

What do the colours mean?

Red = index, green = middle, blue = ring, yellow = pinky, white = open string, unlit = don't play. In Scale mode red marks the root and blue the scale tones.

Can I learn songs I like?

Yes — GlowTab imports Guitar Pro files and plays them on the fretboard with loop and slow-down. Playground gives you backing tracks to jam over.

Left-handed?

The RGB24L is the same guitar mirrored for left-handed players — see the separate listing.

How long does the battery last?

8–10 hours per charge from the 4,000 mAh battery, which is user-replaceable. Charges over USB-C with the included cable, and the fretboard shows the battery level.

Can I use it for teaching?

Yes. One tablet can drive several Litejam guitars at once for group lessons (multi-guitar connection).

Warranty and shipping?

1-year premium warranty. Ships from US, UK, EU and Thailand warehouses; 14-day returns.

So currently I can only give the Lite Jam 1 star, but I am at least optimistic.

As I started playing it I began realizing that one of the scales seemed wrong. Then I realized the blue LED on it was out. Then I realized that at least 4 of them are out (They light up as yellow when setting the performance mode to all white).

I started contacting support, and gave them videos but I've not heard anything back in over 24 hours.

I would recommend adding to your manual something about testing the lights first, putting it into performance mode and verifying stuff works. It took me almost a day to find it myself, less experienced players will likely simply not realize it.

So until I can get this RMA'ed and get a functioning unit, I can only give it 1 star.

Thank you for sharing this with us, and we're really sorry you've had this experience. We've already reached out to you by email so we can follow up on your case and work towards a solution. We also appreciate your suggestion about adding a light test to the manual — feedback like this helps us identify ways to make the setup process easier for everyone. Please check your inbox when you have a moment, and let's take it from there. We'll do our best to help get this sorted out for you! 🎸

Very cool guitar. It does as advertised. The app is simple to use. Plays and sounds very good. I am very satisfied!!!

Thank you so much for the kind words! 🎸 We’re really happy to hear that you’re enjoying the guitar, the sound, and the app. It’s great to know everything is working as expected and that you’re satisfied with your LiteJam. Really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience! 😊

I've been playing guitar for over 35 years, almost exclusively electrics. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the Litejam guitar. I'd say build quality and playability, I'd put it in the $300-450 range when compared to other guitars. The neck is thin, very similar to a Charvel/Jackson, and the fret work is great. No rough spots or nibs sticking out and bends are easy and smooth.
The negatives....the pickups could be better, they are a little disappointing. The logo on the headstock makes it look like a cheap POS guitar, so I covered mine with black electrical tape. The only other complaint I have is it is difficult to play when you have nothing lit up as the fret markers are indistinguishable from the other frets since every fret has 6 markers, one per string for each light. Like I said tho, overall I'm satisfied with the guitar. It's already shown me a couple patterns/paths through some scales I did not previously know and I've only had it for about 4 days. It's a great learning tool. I'd recommend it for any player at any stage of skill.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a detailed review, especially with 35+ years of playing experience. 🎸

It’s great to hear that you’re enjoying the neck, fretwork, playability, and especially that LiteJam has already helped you discover new patterns and paths through scales after just a few days. That’s exactly the kind of experience we hope to create. We also really appreciate the honest feedback on the pickups, headstock design, and fret markers when the lights aren’t in use. These are all useful points for us to consider as we continue improving the guitar.

Thanks again for giving LiteJam a chance and for recommending it to players at different skill levels. We really appreciate it! 🙏

I handed the guitar to a friend who had never touched one in his life. I lit up a G chord. Told him which finger goes on what color. Did this with the C,D . Told him to strum. 5 minutes later he was playing his first song. People saying this guitar is a gimmick. Is a cheat. Don't know what they're missing, I'm personally loving the guitar. I would like to see Some more features added to the app. More follow along drills In the scale department ?

It's an excellent tool,, i could never play on stage with the flashy lights , which would just disorientate me completely,,, but one setting , which highlights your third fifth seventh ninth,, is great,, and the way depicts scales in every way , is excellent. And once again for finding and learning new chords it's great.

I would like to start by saying that this is my preliminary review. I will update further if necessary later on. For the price what I received is finely made and of great quality. Not really knowing what to expect I was pleasantly surprised. I could hardly wait to connect it to the app and check out the features. Unfortunately this is where everything went off the rails. At first I tried to connect it to my Samsung S22 Ultra, no go. Then my iPad Pro 2nd generation. Still no go… Then after struggling for about an hour, I tried my wife’s Samsung S20 fe. And boom we have a connection. Of course after that I had to figure out why it refused to connect with my devices. Turns out the guitar supports Bluetooth 4.2. And the iPad Pro supports Bluetooth 5.0 and the S22 ultra 5.2.
This is obviously a problem. One that I think that many are going to run into.Since it’s a hardware issue and not a software. It can only be corrected with future versions of the Litejam guitars. Obviously peoples experiences will vary depending upon what device they are using for the application. But most importantly what version of Bluetooth that they are currently using. Other than that I would highly recommend to anyone. I genuinely believe that this product could bring in a whole new generation of players. And who knows maybe a few legends along the way.

I'm going to have to take it to the luthier to get a proper setup. It's very difficult to get the strings to stay in tune. And even if I get the strings in tune, they are quickly out of tune due to the stings being too far off the fretboard.
I hope I can eventually get the guitar in playable condition.

So far it’s awesome. I’m quite early in my learning even though I have played in a band. I love this thing and the quality for my status is great. Feels better than my Fender strat. Nice job on the frets and the setup is good for me.
The whole thing is well worth it.

I have only had this for about 10 days and already I am noticing improvement in my fretboard knowledge. The lessons provided in the recent update to the litejam app are invaluable. Definitely worth the investment to use as a teaching tool.

This is amazing to hear! 🎸 We’re so happy LiteJam is already helping you build your fretboard knowledge in such a short time! That’s exactly what we hoped to achieve with the guitar and the new lessons in the app. Thanks so much for sharing your experience and for being part of the LiteJam family!

So this was a replacement for the originally faulty guitar…. And after a day it stopped working. Starting the return process… let’s hope they actually work with me now that I want to return it. I asked a lot of time troubleshooting and working with support.

First unit weren't working so they sent me a neck replacement. It turns out that the wneck arrived broken. And they sent me a second neck. That one worked perfectly.

I'm really grateful with Irene from the support team, she was very patient and she has really good vibes and disposition to help us solve the issues.

Now I'm happy with the guitar and I'm getting ready to use it on stage. 🤘

Thank you so much for your patience throughout the whole process! We're really sorry you had to go through two neck replacements before getting everything working, but we're so happy everything is finally sorted! Irene was more than happy to stay by your side and follow up on your case until the very end to make sure we found a solution! Now it's time to take that guitar on stage and rock it! 🤘🎸 Wishing you all the best with your music!
