The Ultimate Guitar Durability Test
At Litejam, we love finding creative ways to show what makes our guitars different. Sometimes that means creating fun challenges at guitar shows. Sometimes it means taking our instruments on stage in the middle of Thailand’s chaotic Songkran festival. And sometimes... it means handing our newest guitar to complete strangers and asking them to try their absolute hardest to break it. Yes, we actually did that. Recently, we took the new Litejam Neo Acoustic A1 out into the streets of Bangkok with one simple question for anyone willing to participate:
"Do you think you can break this guitar?"
Most people laughed. Some thought we were joking. Others looked at us as if we'd completely lost our minds. But once they realized we were serious, the challenge began.
One by one, people picked up the guitar and did exactly what we had invited them to do. They dropped it onto the ground. They threw it down harder than we expected. Some even jumped on it with all their weight, convinced that this would finally be the moment the guitar gave up. It never did.
Watching people's reactions was honestly one of the best parts of the entire experiment. Every time the Neo Acoustic A1 survived another impact, another drop, or another stomp, the surprise on their faces became even bigger. What many assumed would last only a few seconds kept proving them wrong again and again. Now, before we go any further, we want to make something very clear.
Please don't try this with your own Litejam Neo Acoustic A1.
We would never recommend intentionally damaging your guitar or putting it through unnecessary stress. Instruments are meant to be played, enjoyed, and cared for—not used as crash-test dummies. The purpose of this experiment wasn't to encourage anyone to copy it. We simply wanted to push the Neo Acoustic A1 to its absolute limits and show everyone just how incredibly durable its carbon fiber construction really is.
And the person featured in our latest video wasn't even the first to try. In fact, he was participant number seven.
Before meeting him, we had already stopped several other people around Bangkok and invited them to put the guitar through exactly the same challenge. Every participant approached it differently, but the result was always surprisingly similar: the guitar continued to perform far beyond what anyone expected.
This is only the beginning.
Over the coming weeks, we'll be sharing even more of these extreme durability tests as different people continue pushing the Neo Acoustic A1 in ways most guitars would never experience. But durability is only part of the story. We'll also be testing the illuminated LED fretboard, the sound, and the overall performance of the guitar in a wide range of real-world situations to show exactly what it's capable of.
The Neo Acoustic A1 was designed to be much more than a traditional acoustic guitar. Its carbon fiber body makes it exceptionally resistant while remaining lightweight and ready for everyday use, whether you're practicing at home, traveling, performing live, or creating content anywhere in the world.
If you've been thinking about getting one, now is the perfect time.
The first 500 reservations for the Litejam Neo Acoustic A1 are available for just $0.99, and securing one of those spots will also unlock an exclusive $200 discount when the guitar officially launches. Early supporters will also be among the first to receive their guitars once shipping begins.
