The Litejam Scale Challenge has quickly become one of the most fun and unexpected experiences at guitar shows around the world. From England to Thailand, guitarists are testing their theory knowledge by identifying illuminated scales on the Litejam fretboard — without playing a single note.

During Alex MayBe’s first visit to Thailand, Litejam faced one of the most unexpected live performance situations imaginable. In the middle of a Songkran festival show, powerful water cannons soaked the entire stage — but Litejam kept shining and performing without missing a beat.

During our trip to Paris, we discovered a vintage guitar store that perfectly contrasted with Litejam’s modern approach to learning guitar. Meeting a passionate local guitarist surrounded by classic instruments reminded us that tradition and innovation can coexist beautifully in the world of music.

At Litejam, we’re guitarists first. The other day in the office, Alex and Noy couldn’t resist and started a fun mini jam session with our guitars. Music has this beautiful power to create friendships — just like it did when they met at Music China 2025.

From bedroom Guitar Hero sessions playing “Through the Fire and Flames” to handing a real Litejam to the legend himself — Herman Li took one home after NAMM and went live with it. A surreal full-circle moment for us at Litejam. Growing up with DragonForce’s insane solos, we never imagined one day we’d see Herman exploring the glowing fretboard. The cycle has officially closed.
