News & Updates – A Smarter Way to Learn Scales
Big news for all Lite Jam players! Our app latest update makes learning and practicing scales easier, faster, and way more fun.
We’ve now added the ability to explore and practice over 20 different scales in every key. That’s right — whether you’re learning major scales, minor, pentatonic, or even more exotic modes, you can now light up your fretboard and visually follow along with finger positions in real time. If learning scales used to feel like a chore, this update is the first big step toward making that journey smoother and more motivating than ever.
At Lite Jam, we know that mastering scales is key to becoming a confident guitarist. They help you build solos, improve your improvisation, and understand the fretboard inside and out. But we also know it can be overwhelming. That’s exactly why we created this feature — to make the path more intuitive and rewarding.
Now you can plug in, open the app, and start exploring the building blocks of music — all at your own pace, with the guidance of our LED fretboard lighting the way. No more second-guessing positions or struggling with static diagrams. Just play, see, feel, and improve.
This update is just the beginning. We built it with your feedback in mind — and we’ll continue improving it with your help. If you have ideas, questions, or requests for new features, we’d love to hear from you. Drop us an email, leave your thoughts in the comments, or reach out via social media — Lite Jam is here to grow with you.
We believe that learning guitar should never feel like a solo journey. It’s a shared experience — one where your voice matters. That’s why every update we make, every lesson we design, and every post we write is aimed at supporting you— whether you’re picking up a guitar for the first time or leveling up after years of playing.
So go ahead, dive into the new scale explorer, and unlock the sounds you’ve always wanted to master. Whether you’re playing blues, rock, metal, jazz or pop, the fretboard is now your playground.
And remember — this is just the beginning.
Lite Jam: lighting the way to better playing.
