Litejam Guitar

Very cool guitar. It does as advertised. The app is simple to use. Plays and sounds very good. I am very satisfied!!!

I've been playing guitar for over 35 years, almost exclusively electrics. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the Litejam guitar. I'd say build quality and playability, I'd put it in the $300-450 range when compared to other guitars. The neck is thin, very similar to a Charvel/Jackson, and the fret work is great. No rough spots or nibs sticking out and bends are easy and smooth.
The negatives....the pickups could be better, they are a little disappointing. The logo on the headstock makes it look like a cheap POS guitar, so I covered mine with black electrical tape. The only other complaint I have is it is difficult to play when you have nothing lit up as the fret markers are indistinguishable from the other frets since every fret has 6 markers, one per string for each light. Like I said tho, overall I'm satisfied with the guitar. It's already shown me a couple patterns/paths through some scales I did not previously know and I've only had it for about 4 days. It's a great learning tool. I'd recommend it for any player at any stage of skill.

I handed the guitar to a friend who had never touched one in his life. I lit up a G chord. Told him which finger goes on what color. Did this with the C,D . Told him to strum. 5 minutes later he was playing his first song. People saying this guitar is a gimmick. Is a cheat. Don't know what they're missing, I'm personally loving the guitar. I would like to see Some more features added to the app. More follow along drills In the scale department ?

It's an excellent tool,, i could never play on stage with the flashy lights , which would just disorientate me completely,,, but one setting , which highlights your third fifth seventh ninth,, is great,, and the way depicts scales in every way , is excellent. And once again for finding and learning new chords it's great.

I would like to start by saying that this is my preliminary review. I will update further if necessary later on. For the price what I received is finely made and of great quality. Not really knowing what to expect I was pleasantly surprised. I could hardly wait to connect it to the app and check out the features. Unfortunately this is where everything went off the rails. At first I tried to connect it to my Samsung S22 Ultra, no go. Then my iPad Pro 2nd generation. Still no go… Then after struggling for about an hour, I tried my wife’s Samsung S20 fe. And boom we have a connection. Of course after that I had to figure out why it refused to connect with my devices. Turns out the guitar supports Bluetooth 4.2. And the iPad Pro supports Bluetooth 5.0 and the S22 ultra 5.2.
This is obviously a problem. One that I think that many are going to run into.Since it’s a hardware issue and not a software. It can only be corrected with future versions of the Litejam guitars. Obviously peoples experiences will vary depending upon what device they are using for the application. But most importantly what version of Bluetooth that they are currently using. Other than that I would highly recommend to anyone. I genuinely believe that this product could bring in a whole new generation of players. And who knows maybe a few legends along the way.

I'm going to have to take it to the luthier to get a proper setup. It's very difficult to get the strings to stay in tune. And even if I get the strings in tune, they are quickly out of tune due to the stings being too far off the fretboard.
I hope I can eventually get the guitar in playable condition.

So far it’s awesome. I’m quite early in my learning even though I have played in a band. I love this thing and the quality for my status is great. Feels better than my Fender strat. Nice job on the frets and the setup is good for me.
The whole thing is well worth it.

Preorder went great with payment options available made the whole experience seamless. The guitar is amazing and I will cherish it for a long time.

The guitar works and sounds great. It has been easy to connect and use right out of the box. I would highly recommend!

Horrible. Cheaply made. Goes out of tune Constantly. Even difficult to restring. Customer service lacks big time as well. I would not recommend wasting money on this.

Super fast shipping. My order arrived a day early and in excellent condition. So far all is well.

I do love the guitar, its helping me learn my scales. The only downfall i have is the buzzing coming from the guitar. It seams like its coming from the leds. It doesn't buzz went i play it like a normal guitar. I've used several different cords, I've used three different amplifiers as well. Still a great tool to learn.

It's great and you made the app free which is amazing I'm even thinking of buying another but I only had 1 thing I wish was changed. The fret width!! My fingers are small so when I practice with my buddy guy signature stratocaster I don't have to stretch so much but for some reason on the litejam especially frets 1-5 I can barely stretch and hit the notes. If you update the litejam could you you make the frets easier to play for small handed ppl like me 😆 other than that I LOVE IT AND THANK YOU!

Three stars for the technology it’s awesome! However, the fact that you can’t directly fully utilize Guitar Pro 8 sucks! The cheap 3rd party only allows you to upload one song at a time and lacks the quality of GP8, if you need a couple days to work through a song you have to search and re upload it every time, basically the third party software is not remotely like using Guitar Pro8! Big let down!
