When Your Team Can’t Resist a Mini Jam Session: That’s the Litejam Spirit
At Litejam, we’re not just here to design, build, and sell guitars. Before anything else, we are guitar players ourselves — people who genuinely love music, live performances, songwriting, practice sessions, discovering new artists, and everything surrounding the guitar world. That passion is at the center of every decision we make and every product we create. In many ways, Litejam exists because we wanted to build something that we, as guitarists, would personally love to use every single day.
That’s why moments like the one we recently experienced at the office feel so natural to us. The other day, Alex MayBe and Noy simply couldn’t resist the temptation. What started as a normal workday quickly turned into an impromptu mini jam session right in the middle of the office. A couple of Litejam guitars came off the stands, amplifiers were plugged in, and within minutes the entire atmosphere changed. We managed to record a short fragment of it — many of you have probably already seen it on our social media channels — and honestly, it perfectly captured the kind of energy we love having around Litejam.
It wasn’t anything overly planned or serious. Just two guitarists exchanging riffs, improvising little musical battles, laughing, and enjoying the moment through music. Those spontaneous sessions often end up becoming the most memorable because they remind you why you fell in love with guitar in the first place. No pressure, no expectations, no schedule — just pure enjoyment and creativity. And really, who wouldn’t want to work in a place where picking up a guitar and jamming with your teammate is not only accepted, but actively encouraged?
What makes this story even more special is knowing that Alex and Noy first met during Music China 2025. At the time, it was simply another music event and another conversation between people connected by guitars. But like so many things in the music world, that first interaction naturally evolved into something bigger. Through shared interests, discussions about gear, performances, practice routines, and music itself, a genuine friendship quickly formed. Watching them jam together now is a beautiful reminder of how powerful music can be when it comes to connecting people from completely different backgrounds and experiences.
One of the things we’ve learned while travelling around the world with Litejam is that guitarists almost instantly find common ground with one another. It doesn’t matter if someone comes from a different country, culture, generation, or musical style — the guitar somehow creates an immediate connection. Sometimes it starts with a conversation about a favorite artist, a solo someone loves, or a particular guitar tone. Other times it begins with a simple jam session. But whatever the starting point is, music has an incredible ability to remove barriers and create real friendships naturally.
This is exactly the type of community we dream of building with Litejam. We don’t want Litejam to feel like just another piece of technology or simply a guitar with LEDs on the fretboard. Of course, we care deeply about innovation, visual learning, GlowTab, scales, chords, and every feature that helps players improve. But beyond all of that, what truly matters to us is the human side of music. We want Litejam to become a place where players feel connected, inspired, and part of something bigger than themselves.
Whether someone is a complete beginner picking up a guitar for the first time or an experienced musician who has been playing for decades, we want them to feel welcomed into the same community. In many ways, we see Litejam not only as a product, but as a meeting point for people who share the same passion for music and creativity. Who knows? The person you meet at one of our events, at a guitar show, in a random music store, or while talking online about Litejam could eventually become someone you jam with on stage one day. Maybe even someone you start a band with.
Moments like this small office jam session may seem simple from the outside, but to us they represent something much bigger. They represent the atmosphere and culture we want to continue building around Litejam — one based on creativity, friendship, spontaneity, and genuine love for music. As Litejam continues growing, we hope to keep creating more opportunities for players to meet, collaborate, learn, laugh, and inspire each other through guitar.
