Competition & Event – EP.02 | GlowPlay Challenge Round #1

GlowPlay Challenge

LiteJam is proud to present the very first edition of the GlowPlay Challenge — an international guitar solo contest designed to celebrate creativity, expression, and community. Whether you’re a shredder, a melodic soul, or just love to jam, this is your moment to shine. Just grab your favorite axe, hit record, and let your sound speak for itself. From August to September 2025, guitarists around the globe are invited to improvise a solo over our official Backing Track and upload their performance to social media using the hashtag #GlowPlayChallenge. Alongside that, tag #Litejam and #Nux to make sure we see your video. This is more than just a contest — it’s a celebration of modern guitar culture, visual learning, and the passion we all share for music.

Every note you play could bring you closer to some seriously exciting gear.

  • The 🥇1st place will take home the brand-new Litejam RGB24 Smart Guitar — the glowing fretboard innovation the guitar world’s been waiting for (delivered right after our Kickstarter launch).

  • The 🥈2nd place prize is the sleek and powerful NUX B-8 Wireless System, perfect for cutting the cables and owning the stage.

  • And in 🥉3rd place, the versatile NUX Trident Multi-Effect Pedal will level up your tone with pro-grade sound.

Whether you’re playing from your bedroom or a studio, this is your chance to win, be seen, and show what your sound is made of. Guitar!

Meet the Judges

The GlowPlay Challenge will be judged by a powerhouse trio of international guitar icons — each bringing their own distinct flavor and global influence to the table. From Spain, Alex MayBe is a rising pop punk artist who has performed internationally across the globe, combining high-energy stage presence with expressive guitar work that resonates with modern audiences. Representing Asia, Vinai T (Thailand) is known for his fiery fusion chops, smooth phrasing, and signature tone that has captivated players worldwide. And completing the lineup is Funtwo (South Korea), the legendary guitarist whose viral “Canon Rock” video helped shape the early days of online guitar culture. These three artists will not only judge submissions but also share their own solos to inspire and ignite your creativity.

How to participate:

1. Download the official backing track and LiteJam logo (link below).

2. Record your solo over the track and add the logo to your video.

3. Share your video on social media with the hashtags: #GlowPlayChallenge #Litejam #Nux

4. Post your video and links in our official GlowPlay Facebook Group

🎸If you’re entering the #GlowPlayChallenge and want to keep things simple but effective, mastering G Major Scale is a great place to start. This scale works perfectly over our official backing track and gives you plenty of room for expressive licks and phrasing. Check out the tutorial on the left and start building your solo with confidence!
