Litejam Custom Chord Progression Feature: Total Freedom to Create, Practice, and Explore
Another highly requested feature from our community is finally here — the Custom Chord Progression tool. From day one, many of you have asked for more flexibility when practicing inside the Litejam app. You didn’t just want to explore preset progressions — you wanted full control. So we listened.
With the new Custom Chord Progression feature, you can now completely define the chords you want to practice and see them displayed directly on your Litejam guitar. This is your space to build, experiment, and shape your own musical path. The concept is simple but powerful: you choose every chord. Whether you want to practice the progression of your favorite song or create something entirely original while writing your own music, Litejam adapts to you. Add the chords you need, arrange them in any order, and bring your ideas to life instantly on the fretboard through the LED guidance system.
You can also adjust the tempo to match your practice style — slow it down to understand every movement, or speed it up to challenge your timing and precision. Once your progression is ready, you can save it and come back to it anytime. Create as many custom progressions as you want, in addition to all the default ones already included in the app.
This feature is especially powerful for songwriters. If you’re composing your own tracks, you can quickly test different harmonic ideas, experiment with variations, and refine your structure — all in one place. Instead of switching between tools, everything happens seamlessly within the Litejam ecosystem. As always, this is one of the many features you’ve asked for. Listening to our community and continuously improving the Litejam experience is at the heart of what we do. And just a reminder — the Litejam app is completely free with your Litejam guitar, and we’re constantly working on new updates and improvements for both the instrument and the app.
We’re not stopping here. More features, more tools, and more ways to grow are already in development.
So… what will you create first with your Custom Chord Progression?
Stay tuned — the best is yet to come. 🎸
